Coastside Carousel is a show devoted to spotlighting the groups and artists that make up our local musical entertainment community.

Mike Dale, born and raised in Half Moon Bay, is a veteran broadcaster and journalist who began his career in the San Francisco Bay Area at KCSM, KKUP and KZSU before migrating to San Diego, where he worked in both print and broadcasting for the San Diego Union Tribune, Copley News Service Syndicate as well as radio stations KGB, KCBQ and KOGO. He holds a journalism degree from San Diego State University. While he can’t play an instrument or sing a lick, he adores musicians and the vibrant local music scene along the Coastside.
